Healthy Lifestyles, a one-of-a-kind wellness center located in the new
Center for Advanced Medicine at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center.

Once there you’ll find the Center for Healthy Lifestyles, where “Your
Journey to Wellness Begins.” Our courteous professional staff will help
you find the resources you need to succeed, whether your goals include
exercising more, learning how to cook healthy meals, coping with illness
or reducing stress.
While at the Center, you’ll also want to browse our Wellness Retail
area. For the convenience of those we serve, we offer a number of
wellness and prevention items to supplement our classes and programs.
Diabetes Education
If you are newly diagnosed with diabetes, the Center for Healthy
Lifestyles has a variety of educational materials, including books,
tapes, videos and online resources to help you understand how to manage
diabetes and adapt to a new lifestyle. If you so desire and obtain a
physician referral, you can also visit one-on-one with a diabetes nurse
educator and a dietitian who will guide you through changes you can make
quickly and easily to manage your medical condition and lead a healthy,
productive life.
