OSF St. Joseph Foundation Projects

Current Projects

Proceeds from 2011 Foundation events and fundraisers will go toward the Delivering Joy community campaign. The Delivering Joy campaign is raising money for our new, more modern Birthing Center.

• Funding new lighting fixtures for operating rooms at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center
• Upgrading existing telemetry monitoring system on medical/surgical floor
• Family Emergency Fund - created to assist patients and their families with immediate needs that cannot be met through other channels. Examples of assistance are emergency prescriptions for patients being discharged, transportation, and family lodging.

Past Foundation Projects

Past Foundation projects illustrate our continued efforts to provide high quality health care, serving persons with the greatest care and love.

• Funding construction of private rooms for all patients which includes space for a family member to stay overnight with their loved one
• An OB/GYN clinic which serves Spanish-speaking people within the community
• Patient/staff educational programs and safety initiatives
• Newborn hearing screening machine, blanket warmers, data scopes, and other equipment for the Birthing Center
• Replacement televisions for patient rooms
• Exercise equipment for cardiac rehabilitation services
