Overview
The newly remodeled 10-room Pediatrics
Department at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center features a warm, friendly
environment and a staff highly experienced in pediatric patient care.
General pediatric inpatients, patients receiving an outpatient
treatment or therapy, and those hospitalized for surgery are all
served within this unit. All of our Pediatric nurses, as well as all
of our Emergency Department nurses, are certified in Pediatric
Advanced Life Support.
A state-of-the-art pediatric security system
keeps children extra safe, automatically locking doors when a child
nears an exit. Complimentary meals are available for one parent
staying with their child.
