Scotcheroos…That Are Now New
Ingredients:
1 cup Karo corn syrup
1 cup sugar, or equivalent of Splenda
1 cup Soynut Butter
6 cups Rice Krispies
Frosting:
½ cup combo of chocolate chips + butterscotch chips
1½ cups Chocolate Soynut Butter
Instructions:
In a sauce pan over medium heat,
dissolve Karo syrup and sugar until slightly bubbly. Take off
heat and add soynut butter, stirring until well mixed. Add this
mixture to Rice Krispies and stir. Flatten into bottom of pan
(approx. 1 inch high bars). In microwave, melt chocolate and
butterscotch chips. Stir in chocolate Soynut butter. Spread as
frosting on top of bars. Allow time for frosting to set. Cut
into bars.
